So it all begins with a 1973 Series III 88" Land Rover.....
Now I'm not a what you might call a Rover enthusiast. I like them but not enough to restore one to factory original specs. I purchased this Rover with the idea of doing some suspension mods and adding a Toyota Driver train. It only goes 45mph even with an overdrive unit. Tough to drive 500-1000 miles on a road trip.. The yota running gear will allow me to cruise at freeway speeds all day long.
Well after a good once over I realised the frame was a rusted out pile of junk.
Soooo I guess I'll build a frame too.
