Frame front section

Finally got around to putting this part together. It's just tacked for test fitting.

After chopping off the front end

Need to trim the cage tubing and stub it into the "a" frame

Once these are buttoned up the steering is next.

Rear bumper & winch mount

Rear bumper is mostly finished. Just have some welds to complete and add the cage mounts.

I messed up the drawing in my haste and the side plates and top plate are 2" too short

The only problem that causes is for the winch mount holes which now run into the swaybar tube

Hawes fairlead for the rear winch

2" lip for the tire carrier to mount on

I'll finish the cage mounts and start on the front suspension tonight.

Front axle & rear fenders

Chopped other rear fender up. Need to finalize the bump stops and final cut and clean up .

Not much storage now..

I moved the link mounts in .500" on the front. This helps with tire clearance and skid plate to link arm clearance.

Links wrap under the rail at droop.

Tight fit with the panhard mount at full stuff & droop

Rear Axle

The rear axle is all welded up. Just need to add a bit of armor to the back side to protect the ring gear.

Need to cut the other side of the tub for tire clearance and weld in the skid plates next.

Rear shock(s)

This rear shock mount is temporary, just for mock up. The rear shocks were a lot easier than the front and that's just because there is more room and less going on back there.

Full bump & droop.

Lower shock mount

Full droop & bump

Opposite

Both drooped

The critical clearance here is the spring to frame and full droop with the other side at full bump. If you look back at the top pic you can see you have to balance that with tire clearance.

Cage Tie In

The cage took a lot of time to finish up but it'll be worth it.

This is the B pillar tie in to the slider and frame.

Pass through

Square peg round hole...

Same thing looking up

Had to trim the finder well a little

Shock won't sit like this. Just setting it in place.

Skid plate

Tire installed. Rough trim..

Almost flush

I need to finish trimming and get the shocks mounted. Might have it sitting on tire tonight...
