Panhard

Finally, progress! The panhard bar is mounted in what I think it it's final location. It works well and is out the way from rocks etc...

This is the pitman arm just above the 3rd member. I was lazy and didn't flip it around. The drivers side is at full stuff and the passenger side is at full droop. I just wanted to give it a quick test fit. More testing is needed.



Lower arm clearance (or lack thereof) at full stuff and turn. This is the worst case scenario for rubbing.

Just another shot but you can see the steering shaft laying roughly in place.

Not quite full stuff but close. The panhard just touches the rail at full stuff.

Steering and shocks are next. In order to do the shocks I need to finish up the cage since it holds them on both ends. For the steering I think I'm going to use an FJ80 steering box. I need to mock up the tie first and see how the drag link will fit. Probably should put the motor back in too...
