Matter

Matter: Matter is anything which occupies space and prevents other matter from occupying the same space at the same time.

No this isn't science class, it's just me making mistakes as I go. So after reading the above definition you can probably guess what's coming next...

Ride height. Is that a tie rod on the floor....



Herein lies the problem; the tie rod does not fit inside of the harmonic balancer. Who knew!?!?




So steering is going in front of the axle. Tie rod in place but it looks like it might run into the frame....

Here you can see where I notched the frame for the 3rd member to nest into it at full stuff.

Here is the fix for those problems.

So this was all discovered Friday night and I just didn't get around to posting the pics or info. Basically if I wanted to raise the rig up 2-3" none of this would be an issue but I don't so here we are.
